The travellers Itch

T[b]ravelling when you think about it is quite a selfish act. You do what makes you happy, you eat with out any routine, sleep in late, drink before midday, basically just do what you want and when your not having fun at one place you move onto somewhere else. Its like your on a constant fun wagon, with your eyes open to new experiences and adventures, always seeking to step out of your comfort zone.

[b]Although travelling being such a selfish act, for me it plucked me out of my own bubble and opened my eyes up to the world and the people in it. It helped me to stop thinking about myself and my own dramas for just even a couple hours a day. Travelling has taught me more then i could have ever imagined. Its an addicting drug and i dont know how to stop.

Nothing beats the feeling of arriving at a new destination. Your blood is pumping, adrenaline souring, heart is pounding, your tired, excited and scared. Not knowing whats coming next. Most of the time i dont even know what emotion it is im feeling.. Maybe somewhere along the way you have a shit time, get lost or robbed, have no accommodation, miss your transportation and loose your bags. All these things have happened to me but as you move on and return home you remember these things, then you laugh about them and tell the stories with such passion.
On the other hand you have the most amazing time of your life. You meet people that not only become your bestfriend or travel partner but these people you meet along your journeys can change your life. For me every person i have met has taught me something different. My most memorable peson was a random guy i met in a bar in Canada. We were playing a drinking game called flippy cup and talking only for a few minutes when he cut me off mid sentence and said
Hay! Stop talking and thinking about what your going to do in a week or month from now, enjoy thins moment your having fun.
From that moment on i didnt have to go here or there I just tried tried to make the most of every situation i was in and have the most fun i could.

So if you have an open mind and are ready to get grubby and experience new walks of life and have trust in total strangers, stop dreaming and come travelling. I dont know even as a kid Ive always thought there was more to life then going to school and living to work day after day. I wanted something different, new and exciting.

Im on a computer in Colombia and cant figure out the key board sorry for the pathetic grammar....
